United Kingdom I have been working in English language teaching since 1981, as a teacher, director of studies and corporate courses manager. Subsequent to this, I was the founder and then managing director of English Worldwide, an ELT consultancy running projects across the globe. Amongst these projects was the nine-year ELT curriculum renewal process in the Sultanate of Oman, the setting up of a distance-learning Trinity College TESOL Diploma in Italy and the organising of EFL teaching operations for energy companies in remote parts of Russia and the Caucasus.
